I plan to live to 100. Uncle Mike did, so why can’t I?
I’m 70 now. Life expectancy calculators say a 70-year-old on average make it to 87.
There is a genetic component. So what’s my genetics:
- 94 – Mother (Oda Yacovitch)
- 66 – Father (Daniel Yacovitch)
- 74 – Grandmother (Rose Yacovitch)
- 70 – Grandfather (Sam Yacovitch)
- 80 – Grandmother (Rose Ostapovitch)
- 80 – Grandfather (Fred Ostapovitch)
- 67 – Great Grandmother (Martsia Kiszul)
- 85 – Great Grandmother (Aksana Ostapovitch)
- 75 – Great Grandfather (Peter Ostapovitch)
So, if I make it to 75, I beat the ancestor average.
And who knows, maybe the Methuselah Foundation will deliver on their promises.
